About Us
Alfonso Dilio is a guitarist and the promoter of Aut Aut, a band born in Palermo and very appreciated in the Italian Independent Rock Scene
in the mid eighties.
After having achieved a great experience in the field of home recording
and having founded, together with other partners a recording studio for
the city bands, he finally decided to invest his professional expertise and
his knowledge in a new structure able to fill an artistic and technological gap in Palermo.
The sound engineer Renato D'Anna joins the studio as a partner in 1999.
He is a polyhedric musician and a multi-instrumentalist, an arranger and
a composer.
Starting from his first experiences in rock music (bass, violin, keyboards),
he arrives to classical music passing through jazz. (He is the first jazz bass teacher of Palermo's Brass Group).
He performs in different chamber ensembles and for about twenty years
he played as First Viola in several symphonic orchestras and opera houses.
In the 70'es he began to study the different recording techniques and, as
an informatics pioneer, he is recognized as a IBM and Honeywell electronic programmer.
With the arrival of digital technology he became "Pro Tools Specialist".
He has been teaching Viola in "V. Bellini" Conservatory of Music in Palermo since 1980.
Often he is request to hold courses of sound engineering, sound treament and digital technology by public and private organizations.
